RECRUITMENT ASSESSMENT PROCESS
The process you will follow is:
ONLINE APPLICATION FORM
This will capture your contact details, educational and work experience as well as asking a few questions to ensure our programme is right for you.
We will ask you questions about your degree, why you want to work for Verastar and what’s attracted you to our scheme.
These will be held at our Head Office in South Manchester to assess your skills and experience and give you an opportunity to meet the team, visit the office and ask lots of questions.
This assessment may include:
- Business presentation
- In-tray or e-tray exercise. This will test your ability to absorb information, prioritise, make decisions and communicate.
- Group exercise – This will focus on team work and skills, so more fun than business.
- Mini competency interview – This will give you a chance to meet some of the managers that will support you on the scheme and tell us a little bit about yourself.
FACE TO FACE COMPETENCY INTERVIEW
The final stage of our recruitment process will be a face to face interview with members of our Senior Management team and a member of HR. These will involve competency questions and will give you a chance to really shine and tell us why you are the best person for our scheme.
Please note that only those applicants who pass the assessment event will be invited to the face to face competency interview.
