Collections Team Manager

Your Role

As a Collections Team Manager you will lead a team of collections advisors/coaches to successfully collect overdue balances from our customers at an early stage and reinstate the customers’ payment methods to Direct Debit. Working closely with the team’s coach, you will promote best working practice and set achievable KPI’s for individuals to work towards and provide ongoing training and support to your team through performance plans, regular feedback sessions and promote a supportive working environment.

You’ll also be responsible for monitoring individual performance and review existing processes to identify opportunities to improve our service, ensuring your team is able to achieve its commercial objectives set by the business. You will also act as the point of escalation for any issues and ensure all team activity complies with all regulatory standards, GDPR and quality policies.

Experience Required

The successful candidate will have at least 12-months experience managing a Collections Team in a fast-paced contact centre environment is essential with a solid understanding of the collections process. You’ll poses excellent written and verbal communications skills and be comfortable analysing data to identify trends and recommend improvements to existing processes.

Previous experience working within the utilities or telecoms sector is desirable however, candidate with strong people management skills from outside of theses sectors will be considered.
