Verastar employees took part in the 2023 #ManchesterPride parade on August Bank Holiday weekend. Colleagues from across the business joined together to celebrate this year’s theme of ‘Queerly Beloved’ – delving into the transformative power of the dance floor, highlighting its pivotal role in fostering self-acceptance and igniting a sense of empowerment and liberation.
“I have worked for Verastar for 10 years and felt that this was a great opportunity for us to join together and sure our support to the community whilst getting to know people in the business that I don’t normally work with. The day itself was full of colour, love and the feeling of being united together'” Amy Nimmo
“So grateful I took part in the parade. It was myself and my friend Ben and we both really enjoyed it. We would love to do it again next year. We really needed more Verastar members as our team was a bit small (but very vocal) but still had a great time and I was so excited. PS. The face paint was very popular!!!” Vicki Pagkali.
