The Verastar Graduate Programme

If you’re looking for a place to develop valuable skills, build amazing relationships and grow your career then you’ve come to the right place.

On this 18-month programme you’ll be given the training and opportunities to stretch yourself. You’ll achieve goals you might not have expected and discover job roles you didn’t know existed.

You’ll need a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and give things a go, because sometimes you will be pushed outside of your comfort zone. But, as the old saying goes, nothing good ever came easy!

We are proud to look after 160,000 small businesses in the UK. Think pubs, cafes, takeaways, independent shops, nail bars, hairdressers, tattoo artists.

We provide all the essential services small businesses need, under one roof. Think broadband, phones, water, energy, insurance, card payment machines.

We operate multiple different brands to take our products and services to market.

Our Mission

Like you, we too are on a journey of development. We’re working hard to ensure we do the right things to support local communities, raise money for charities and reduce our carbon footprint.

We’ve learned lessons during Covid and are busy building in more flexible and remote working options for the future and have relaxed our office dress code. We want our people to turn up to work feeling comfortable to be themselves.

When is the best time to apply? Are there any opening or closing dates?

As soon as possible! We will be recruiting from May to August but spaces may go quickly.

Is this an Office or home-based role?

This role is based in our Manchester Head Office however we are currently working within COVID guidelines with working from home in place, we are looking at options on what new working lives will look like as COVID restrictions ease.

What will my working hours typically be?

A typical working week will be 37.5hrs Monday – Friday. We operate a flexible working hours scheme – further information will be shared during the interview process.
