What you’ll be doing

Customer Service can be very challenging as you’ll be dealing with complex issues but also very rewarding when you can see you’ve truly made a difference to a customer’s day. As a Customer Service Advisor in one of our billing teams you’ll:


  • Be on hand to respond to incoming calls

  • Deliver a great service through honest and friendly conversations

  • Handle many enquiries from simple bill breakdown requests to solving disputes with charges

  • Manage queries and issues from the first call through to resolution

  • Promote all our services to customers and share how we can save them time and money


Previous experience in a contact centre or customer facing role is an advantage. But don’t panic if you haven’t done either of these before, you can benefit from our award-winning training programme which will provide you with all the skills and knowledge needed to thrive and be a success in this role.

“It’s our job to answer inbound calls from customers with billing enquiries and all kinds of questions come up. One minute you’re helping someone understand their bill, the next you could be simply confirming direct debit dates. You need to be ready to deal with whatever comes your way, and that’s where the training comes in. To be good at this job, you need to be great at listening, enjoy speaking to people and be able to communicate clearly. We often use Microsoft Office and computer databases, so you need to be comfortable on the computer. Above all, you have to enjoy helping people and making sure you leave them with a smile on their face.”

  • Full time/Permanent contract of 37.5 hours per week

  • Monday to Friday (shifts between the hours of 8am-6pm) with one in five Saturdays (9am-1pm)
