Software Development Business Analyst

Location: Sale, Manchester, UK
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000

As a business analyst you’ll be working closely with Project Managers, Software Development and Business Operations teams across the business to create and improve internal systems and processes. You’ll focus on supporting the design and implementation of software processes, procedures and products across the Verastar Group that will have positive impacts for both our customers and colleagues. This exciting opportunity will enable the successful applicant to work across our business on a multitude of different projects and product areas.

You will work with a variety of stakeholders across the business to understand, validate and document current state business processes and perform root cause analysis into business processes and document to drive improvement.

Experience Required
The ideal candidate will be personable, persuasive, innovative with a strong character and be comfortable dealing with people at all levels. They must have a “can do”, high energy attitude and be able to think logically to overcome challenges and see changes through from start to completion.

You’ll need a minimum 2 years’ professional experience of business analysis with some experience with working in development squads. The ability to ability to see problems from different angle is essential as is the ability to anticipate risks and issues and to respond to unforeseen changes quickly and effectively.

BCS certificate/ diploma in business analysis, Lean 6 Sigma, Agile BA desirable although not essential.
