CUSTOMER SERVICE SITE INVESTIGATOR

THE ROLE

Working in our Utilities Customer Service Department you will be responsible for the research and investigation into a portfolio of sites. Using internet research skills and your initiative you will explore different websites and follow various leads to source customer details. You will need an open minded approach when conducting your research.

 

Once avenues have been researched you will be the first point of contact between the customer and our Utilities Customer Service team. You will be able to engage with the customer in order to build a rapport and explain the reason for our call. You will use your objection handling and negotiation skills to overcome any customer queries whilst investigating any inconsistencies with our data.

 

This role offers substantial variety in the wide range of conversations with our customers and gives an excellent opportunity to demonstrate your passion for delivering excellent customer service. You will contribute to the success of the department by achieving your own personal performance objectives and contribute to the overall team performance in order to achieve the departmental targets and service levels.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

To be considered for this role you will possess the following;

  • Excellent customer service skills and customer focused attitude
  • Sales Experience would be beneficial but not essential
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Experience of rapport building and the ability to demonstrate your objection handling skills are essential
  • Self motivated with a positive approach to targets
  • Ability to multi task
  • Experience of computer based research

SALARY

£14,750 – £16,750 per annum
